Making blade guards for hook knives

After posting this following link on the Whittling thread I thought I'd start a new one to get folks making these things and for everyone to show off their handywork.

A few years back I came across a guy online who made a wooden case to protect the blade of his hook/spoon knife. It was really simple, oval as I remember. Well to get to the point, I can't find it now but I found this whilst trawling for the other one.:biggrin:

Sycamore with yew pegs/dowels.
