Knee Pain

Hello first post lots of interesting topics to reed.

I had joint pain in knees and elbows the doctor prescribed me some anti inflametries but all they do is take the swelling away, the doctor told me you need to take a lot of time off to let them repaire themselfs.

I found Chondroitin/Glucosamine Complex really does work.

Hmm perhaps that would help but I always seem to do myself more damage than good in the gym. Before Norway I was doing kung fu style horse-stance for about 3 minutes every day with my back to the wall and my legs bent at 90 degrees. When you stand up after that the burn is incredible and stretching feels a bit easier, but again I don't know if this did more harm than good

 

thats where you need a fitness instructor to show you correct technique's. it's easy for us to sit here and say what you should do, but really the physio should be telling you what exercises you should be doing. we don't know the extremity's of the damage, or which muscle/ligament/joint are damaged. as you said you might do more harm than good. that kung fu thing is quite strenuous. for damaged joints light weights with high repetitions, followed with some slow stretching is best. maybe just try cycling until you see the physio
