Got a pin on order, thanks to the TH.

 

Is that pin to enable you to

mount the RW mid line? Nice idea!

 

It does not solve the problem withy spiderjack! I don't want to buy a lockjack but it's mid line mountable and has a handy attachment point for the tether.

Yep, mid line attachment is then possible, it also solves the problem of getting a spliced eye through the wrench without having to thread the whole rope through from the other end.
