plant id needed

Hi all can anyone id this plant please location is on wet meadow / it is 5 inches high looks like a edelwies

 

How about edelwiest? :lol:

 

It's not a plant I'm particularly familiar with. My best guess would be Marsh cudweed (Gnaphalium uliginosum).

thanks for that janey its the one marsh cudweed , edelweiss we both got it wrong :thumbup: sorted. just had a look at plant id and found that marsh cudweed is related to edelweiss i thought it looked like one .
