Will do, defiantly something to do on a rainy sunday before the F1! thats the only problem with the cards that fungi looks so different as it ages etc and you can realistically only have one picture per card.

any other suggestions gladly appreciated!

how about a picture within a picture? something ive been toying with for my own publications

 

great idea, for the short term i will replace that pic, but im at uni for the next 3 years so i will have more than enough time to do it then! graphic designs A level flashbacks:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

you will find that copywrite is rarely infringed for educational use.

 

That's only true as far as photo's are not officially published in books, magazines and/or on CD-roms and DVD's with ISBN-numbers, which implicates, the photo's and texts are implicitely and often also explicitely (colofon page) protected by copyright. You'll then need permission in writing from the author/photographer and/or the publisher, who might charge you for the use of his material. The same thing will be the case on photo websites, which explicitely mention copyright and/or charge for downloading photo's with their permission.

And apart from copyright, you're always obliged to state the name of the photographer and/or author.
