Royal welsh tree felling competiton

Did anybody one here know anything about this, or take part ?

 

Not heard of this before, and i can not find much about it. Aparantly it took place on the 11th of June in Denbigshire N Wales.

It was in this months forestry journal. I have seen in the past at the royal welsh show, but this took place in N wales, and before the show. But i not seen it advertised anywhere before it took place. I was just interested.

yer the day before the show we were in a wood above the showground up a hill doing the felling comp, they had the welsh TV there filming us then the next day was when the show was on we were doing the arena comps in the showground.
