Is it time for all climbers to pack up their ropes and harnesses? Came across this article in todays issue of the Metro newspaper!

Quote "its inventors hope it could one day be used to help humans who have to scale tall trees for dangerous tasks."

 

Might be handy for setting your rope up in the canopy or skinnying up something thats a bit too whippy to climb, but at 1kg and only capable of carry a load of upto 1.5kg, it might be sometime before its wielding an MS200 and chasing us out of a job. :001_smile:
