Can you get replacement Husqvarna clutch springs?

 

Or do you have to replace the whole clutch?

 

Its a C shaped type spring (there are two opposite each other).

 

Has a quick google but can't find one... or I'm using the wrong search terms?

 

Its for a 351 if that makes a difference.

Yes you can get replacement springs through your local dealer, dont need to replace the whole clutch.

 

Yep, and you'll get quite proficient in replacing them too, my 353 is bad for eating them and I've known an odd 346 or two to be partial to eating them too :biggrin:

I've got to do them on a 346 Xp for a friend though only know me way round stihl saws can anyone help with a few pointers, and is it necessary to change them as a pair

Just replied to you're other post - dead simple to do.

 

Probably shoudl change them in pairs but I never have done as yet.
