i know, thing is they didnt like where they were reintroduced to spread really quickly then went into rapid decline over the last 100 yrs or so, its like black grouse in say 1910-1920 there were black grouse in most English counties!

 

caper are fantastic though most i have seen is 5 females in one tree when out surveying outside aviemore, you quickly get your eye into the type of habitat your likely to find them in, that and having a few radio tagged always helps :)

I spent a brilliant morning watching them lek a couple of years ago. That was all it took to get me supporting them 100% :001_smile:
