Greater manchester search for trees.

It is to my understand that they planted loads of plane trees in london including the great oriental plane tree. I was wondering if they planted them all over the UK or just london. and if any were in manchester or if there's the possibility of that? cheeeeeeers.

 

reason is this.

 

(also if there are any other types of tree that have similar characteristics to this (low lying branches or wide ones without leaves could you please tell me )
