yanmar engine on a vermeer 352

hi arbtalkers,

the unfortunate daihatsu dm950 diesel on my stump grinder needs to be replaced by a more healthy engine. having read a couple of opinions on this little troublemaker, i've decided not to remanufacture it, since it easily overheats and tends to quit life much more earlier than expected by all the hard working tree fellers:sneaky2:

i have found the yanmar 3tnv88 to be the lucky one, chosen by vermeer to empower their new 372, successor of the 352.

any opinions on adapting this engine on my old (2005) grinder?

many greetings, jan
