Phoned a valtra dealer to look at PTO and they sent engineer next day.

Done oil pressure test on back end and decided it was the PTO clutch that had worn. Striped the back end there and then and went away to order the parts. will come back Monday if parts are in and re assemble and test.

NOW I KNOW WHAT A WET PTO CLUTCH LOOKS LIKE:blushing:

Thanks to all who contributed advice and thoughts.

Cheers

robert.

Looks simmilar to what they did to mine. Any idea on cost yet? Mine was about 2k with parts and labour:blushing: On the plus side there was some left over ValtraTrans oil so i haven't had to buy any of that in ages.
