indeed, but i think the wear and tear it saves to my body is worth the odd aggravation of having to retrieve it.

Dont want to get too leftfield here....the double snapper is designed to retrieve the tool...a worthwhile premis as damage from impact at removal/retrieval can be an issue for some>

i have the art ropeguide mark1 and mark2, quite possibly my single most valued item in my climbing kit.

 

Which do you like best Mk1 with rope or MK2 webbing? Intersting that the new primus has gone back to rope.

hmmmmm im not sure theres much in it to be honest...i prefer the rope one but only because its longer.

i reckon the webbing one gets caught in tight crotches more as it turns the ring around a bit
