the previous post about bending my bar on my stihl 880. ive managed to straighten it ok. it works fine but now has a small wiggle on it which is causing a lot of friction and heat. i think for milling a new bar is in order.

can anybody recommend a good make or should i just replace it with the stihl. i liked the fact it doesn't have a sprocket, but is it better to have one?

it has to be a solid bar. 120cm is needed so i can use the chains i already have.

Canon make big bards that are good, and Rob D on the forum here who is the man for alaskan mills recommends the GB bars that he sells. Get in touch with him as you will get excellent advice and service from a really good guy.
