Capel is a lot more than 'just' a show

For anyone who may be thinking of coming down for the celebration of trees in a couple of weeks,

I thought I'd just share with you the other side of the venue.

 

It will be well stocked with the usual trade fair regalia, but if you take the time to explore,

it's actually got a lot of hidden gems all over the site.

by some accounts there were two by the end of the day!

Although I periodically visit, I had a real nostalgic trip there today.

 

Started doing various college courses there, beginning back in 1985.

Classrooms were in the main big house back then, these days the campus has filtered out across the site & beyond.

 

Took a little time out to have a look at the Manor house today, compared a couple of views of it from over the years...........
