Hit and Miss fencing

Being a bit cheeky as per normal. Just preparing a quote for a fence giving several options> Because of the length (50m) ish and the position I am suggesting hit and miss fencing (150mm boards with 100mm gap for privacy) I've not one of these where I've supplied the materials. Anybody got a price per m or suggestions as to a supplier in Chester area.

I've worked out that the closeboard option and the concrete post/gravel board and weather board panel option come in at about the same price at £1950+VAT including removal of the old knackered fence and some minor (30mins) crownlifting adjacent trees) but would prefer the hit and miss so some wind could pass through.

Cheers in advance

Rob

yes the 25x150x1800 boards with a 75mm gap so as the wind will pass through but it closes it right down as i tend to use 50x100mm rail.

i never use postcrete always concrete:thumbup1:

I've got some to do, I might be a bit thick but what dont you like about post crete (never used it).

Post crete is amazing stuff we can do a whole fence in a day from scratch to painted, Its vandal proof in 10 mins!

Found that out the hard way with ordinary concrete:thumbdown: Came to the job next day to find evertthing squint Grrr.

Its great place post in hole pour in some water pour in the postcrete then some more water give it all a poke with a stick, Hold the post for 2 mins move on to the next.

No buggering about with bracing the posts.

Fairly expensive but like i said the whole job is done in one trip no need to leave it for 3 days so you can nail anything.
