what helmet cam set up are you using? and are they chainsaw mits?

 

Hi,

 

camera is "Oregon scientific" its a digital type with an SD card.

bought it second hand from a mate who was no longer using it.

It's a bit jerky and grainy at times but it gets the job done.

It's a great learning tool, every tree worker should have one.:001_smile:

 

gloves are cheap riggers from the hardware shop.

Nice fell right between the trees. The pole saw up there is a new turn i dont normally use it for up in a tree although i see its use is handy.

 

When I worked in the states I took a pole saw up nearly every tree. Mostly to pass my climbing line up to the next crotch and also for getting hangers and hard to reach cuts. It can be cumbersome and dangerous if you hook it onto something and it comes flying past you.

 

I much prefer climbing without one.
