Wanted: Engine for hayter 56 mower

Hi

it is a briggs and stratton engine not sure what i need to look for as there are no number on the old girl they have rubbed off with age.

Any help would be brilliant.

is it horizental or vertical crank? and what hp?

i got a honda and a robin engine kicking about about 5hp i think

tony any briggs and stratton engine will do, all b/s engines have the same mounting brackets.. bolt off and new bolt on..

just get a b/s sp470 engine 4.5hp.. way you go:thumbup:
