Yell.com, there free, search friendly website

Yell gave me a free google friendly webpage. I was wondering if any one had personalised it or got any work from it?

but u can do that for free on google anyway......

 

yell phoned me .....i asked for a total of calls made to me thru YP (still 2 months to go) 26 he said, not good value for my money i said, but if u pay another £500 on top of ur £1000 advert u paid last year, it will get better this year. DUH

 

i have had more business from a free internet search engine than yellow pages. Back to basic advert with YP......£36........YP only seems to get me work within 10 miles

Yell has been ok to us. Though I have down graded the size of our paper advert and increased our google adwords budget.

 

Advertising is a difficult one. I believe advertising works. We've been trading nearly two years and word of mouth is bringing more business with time.

 

But we still have to spend on advertising.
