Had a letter from the EA last week telling me that payment for my carriers license had not gone through from September! Checked my records had received my license and check had cleared.

They threatened to cancel my license if it wasn't paid after 28 days.

Spoke to the seems there was a problem in their system and payment had been taken.

For and agency that is a so up for having the right paper work, I don't think this is on.

So how much should I invoice them for waisted time.:001_tt2:

£30 Quid as good will gesture. Then more if they make life difficult. It's time these agencies starting being accountable in the pocket, their the first to hit us if we mess up!

you can invoice them all you like , but first you'll have to get an order / requisition number and no one any where in the EA will be able to do that ! Remember the passport agency computer and the child tax credits a few years back and many more .

Which works at your advantage when you submit the small claim court form, nobody knows who should deal with it in a lot of firms so they just pay up 9/10 times :-)
