Where abouts are you, I have a Lucas mill so may be interested.

I'm in Devon, the tree is in Exeter. Starting take down on Wednesday. Will plead with the guy to let me plank some of it at least.

Well she is down. I have two nice pieces I'm going to chainsaw mill but the butt came down in two pieces. One 3.5 ton56b99b7e-d3e7-f080.jpg

And the other at 5.4 ton56b99b7e-d40f-ec24.jpg

The big bits are off for carving as no one would mill it for us.
