I have had a big mill for the last two years & have been milling mostly softwood with fairly good results. For one-offs its a bit slow to set up and if you are going to mill more than 2.5M you really need two centre supports(or whatever they are called) I have also had a few probs with the screws used to hold the arms onto the end of the logs - you have to use round heads because countersinks move the plate out of level. This apart its a well made piece of kit but my old 262 is to be honest struggling & im looking to buy a second hand saw of at least 70cc5476970286
