Pinto

Mainly because I had 8mm lying around to be honest mate. If I was splicing an eye then I'd use 10mm but as it's just stitched together 8mm was less bulk. Some of my friends are rocking 6mm globe for rg's- absolutely tiny lightweight rg's.

Yeah I reckon that is sweet.it might cinch down though and pull together. Would it leave a bumpy knot that would stop it retrieving easily? If that's what your using it for.

Im not sure if it will pull together and make retrieving hard, will test it out today. Not sure if I will use it as RG still lovin the cocoon(wouldn't mind one of your caps/cones though!:001_tt2:), think I might use it as retrievable rigging point or for setting up rescue config's, lifts etc.

Tried the pinto out with that config the other day.. seem to work ok but I felt that it did 'squeeze' the sides of the pinto together slightly, so I went back to the other configuration. Also wasn't as smooth for retrieving when using the pinto as a RG.

Also tried a couple different climbing systems using the pulley..

1st pic is standard setup

2nd pic is a compact setup

3rd is side view of compact

Anyone got any others..?

I still prefer the HitchClimber pulley in my main system
