half rounds through kindlet

Just wondering has anybody ever put half rounds through a kindlet machine?I usualy put whole rounds through machine but as limited to 8"diamater ive had to half some larger diamater wood.The problem im finding is that the halfs are wanting to ride upwards or go cross over any advice?

We tried putting half rounds and rounds through our machine but gave up and went back to planned stuff tried a few times just seems alot of hassle and alot of bark.

As above, find it pretty messy!

i find if you have some nice clean stuff its ok and all the same size halfs ,but you cant beat offcuts for the kindlet or 6 inch round wood

I am still trying to build the perfect machine to prepare offcuts in to 6" kindlet food without spending a fortune.
