i found a video tape[remember those]yesterday!

my daughter has a tv/video combi,so i put it on and it was a programme that i had taped many years back called HARD LABOUR,it was a discovery real time series.

this episode was about forestry,3 unemployed [2 boys/1 girl] were sent on a 2 week forestry course up in a collage in the lake district,1 boy lasted about 2 days and left, the girl completed the traning, but failed the assessment and the other boy got stuck in and passed and even went on to do climbing:thumbup:

ANYONE SEEN IT......few years old,but a good show

the other episodes in the series were-steeple jack, trawler fisherman etc:001_huh:

Remember watching it back then and thinking what a whining little ijit he was :) didn't see the other shows. I wonder if he's still at it, may even be a member here!

the boy who passed the assessment and went on climbing to the climbing, was not the moaner,he did not complain once,he loved it:thumbup:

the boy who lasted a few days was a little whinger.

made me laugh because, they did not know what they were doing until they got on site.

when the trainer told them, you are going to fell trees, the moaner was jumping for joy,YES,YES,until he worked for few days in the cold, soon changed his attitude:001_huh:
