not really. you;re minimizing chain drag moving down to .325, it will perform considerably different

 

 

I think we were talking about 2 different uses.

 

He and you are talking limbing, I think. I was talking about bucking up hardwoods with 3/8 and bar buried. :001_tongue:

 

So the differences is understandable.

Where'd you find a 13" 3/8 bar? :confused1:

 

Oregon do a 13" bar in 3/8" to fit husky saws - 138SLHD009

 

probably do one for stihl saws - 133SLHD025 ?

 

But the usable lenght of a 15" is only about 13 1/2" on my 365:001_tt2:
