the positioner is designed for use as a cam for your side strop and lockjack is for use on your main line , i use both and im verry leased with both of them , i certainly would not turn back . they do take a bit of getting used to but once you have got the hang of them they can really make your job in the tree alot easyer.

has any one tried one of these, in two minds about buying one? are they any good or is the lock jack sport just better all round although very expensive!.

 

Yes, I think you are confused. No such thing as a lock jack positioner.

 

ART make the lockjack for your main line.

 

ART also make the positioner but its for your lanyard/strop.

 

 

They are both good, but you cant compare them too each other.
