I found it difficult at first as i do hardwood sticks. However, once i got one or two big customers it took off a bit. I do good business with the narrow boat dwellers they love it, once a week they trundle down the towpath and get their sticks, I agree those with money want to pay peanuts :) I did start a thread to set up a co-operative but it would be so hard to control quality etc. but a good way to ensure we get a reasonable price for supplying the big boys:)

I stack the nets in a storage unit, as the mice seem to love monofilament if left in the shed:) Deliver small quantities in pick-up, larger loads on pallet 50 with industrial cling film to keep secure. I have got more efficient in terms of cutting and bought two german saws which have really speeded the job up. From lengths of wood two of us can do 80 bags in 2 hrs, that includes cutting wood into 6 inch lengths, would be interested in what you do and if you have any tips to speed job up further?
