willows and pops

Just started this job today and its a right knacker cracker. The willows over the bowling green hut is being reduced (drastically) i.e. all but taken out but leaving it standing to sprout. The trees are multi-stemmed and massive at the base but we won't need to cut it all the way down. The targets are a privet hedge with a fence and the buildings below but the problem is getting all the stuff back into the playground area. Some of the limbs go way out over the river and suitable points for lowering from are few. Zip line setup would come in handy but we don't have the gear for that and I've only done it once which was way back with more primitive gear.

Besides the two willows there are pops and more willows all the way down the river banking for about 500m that need removing, raising, reducing etc. Gonna be here a while and will post more pics.
