Hi all,

Just wondering if there is any of you guys using Insurantz.com for your business or van insurance? They seem to be quite competitive and give some good cover. The policy documents and wording seems to be a little vague but doesn't seem to come with any strings attached/exclusions. You can get a quote within 10mins too. I always wonder how they can give you quotes without giving them a great deal of information about your business. I would always wonder if they would pay out if it all hits the fan but they seem kosher.

i am insured with them , i was unsure but called them and they all seemed ligitimate. its all inderwritten by another company i think its brit insurance or something.

hopefully i wont need to use it. however i was passed their number by a collegue who is also insured by them .

next year i think i will use arbinsure or trust insurance. i just needed re-insuring quickly so i went with them.

hope that helps slightly

@Alinicoll: I know what you mean, if they took more information from me then I could get a more accurate quote and thus know what to do to get my quote lower (more tickets, better security etc). Will give them a ring and see what they say on any restrictions or exclusions.

@Adam: Yeh i bet they are legit its just will they pay out if anything goes wrong? i had a scan through their policy wording and documents and all seems good. When they sent you your documents, anything in the small print that I should look out for?

cheers for the info.

nothing i noticed....... they dont send you the documents as such, they are available to you via their website, you log in and print them off......bit odd but does the trick and must save them a fortune on postage costs.

Just make sure you are covered for everything you do. What height are you covered to? Does it include grinding and if so to what depth? Are you covered for burning etc. If they genuinly cover you properly for a good price then happy days:thumbup:

well the guy i talked too said i am covered for grinding, burning and i dont think i have a height limit. nothing was mentioned and i cannot see it in my policy wording....

yeh if they don't mention it does it mean you can do it?? what is the scope of work that you can do and still be covered? railway work? power station work? I find the whole insurance thing very vague...

i tihnk its covers general tree work in domestic circomstances. if you require insurance for work with cranes, power stations, railway work ect you will probably want to go with someone else.
