Now then chaps i have a problem which i was hoping someone may be able to advise me on.

My 262 xp wont idle properly, most of the time if i rev the saw upto half throttle then let go of the trigger i get a fast idle with the chain spinning quite fast, then if i rev the saw flat out then let go of the throttle the saw dies. But occasionally the saw will return to a normal idle.

The saw is set to its factory settings of 1 and 1.

Im thinking perhaps carb diaphrams ?

Any help is much appreciated !
