Hi Rob, always nice to meet another grower! We are harvesting 10k plus Fraser and 15k Nord next season. Planted 22k Nords last autum and another 30k this spring! Never ending... I see your loctaed in St helens, dont know where your trees are situated but have you had any problems with aphid down your way?

 

Weve had some. We used a mistblower to treat them and it seems to have sorted it. We still lose a couple trees as with any crop

 

Our trees are grown in our own fields. We live on a farm so we utilise the space.

 

The tops will be trimmed this month. They get done every year. They are all reaching 7ft now. They were all planted in 2001!

Good show... We rotate our frasers on a 7 year cycle planted from a 2 year transplant. Had some great tree's season just gone.
