Kohler engine parts

Hello,

I recently purchased a used TW18-125PH with the petrol Kohler Triad engine. Really pleased with the machine for a budget starter.

I came to do an oil and filter change the other day as the snow stopped play. I struggled to remove the oil filter as it had been applied so tightly by the last person to change it. Eventually when it did come free, it took with it the collar which sits hehind the filter where the oil sensor sits and reads oil pressure. This collar is cast and has completely cracked.

Do you know where I can get parts for these older Kohler engines? It is a small and simple part but I am unsure of the best place to go as my main dealer took 3 weeks to get parts for this engine previously and I need it back on the road asap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Adam

Hi Adam,

Timberwolf is shut for the Christmas period and does not reopen until 4/1/11 so our normal expert advice is not available - however I will do my best!

The 3 major Kohler engine agents are:

Unipower - Universal Engine Power Ltd (Uni-Power) Honda,Briggs,Kubota,Lombardini,Kohler...

J H Hancox - http://www.hancox.co.uk/kohlerengines

Bryco - http://www.bryco.co.uk/kohler

I hope this information proves useful to you.

Happy New Year!!!

Richard
