I've got loads of mates got into wood burning this year and none of them have got anything stored from last year so they are burning anything they can get their hands on most dont know the difference this will come with experience one of them was burning the councils old post and rail fencing from around his garden on an open fire.

I would be very very carefull about burning any treated timber:thumbdown: and really would keep it off any open fires..

Too true some very harmfull toxins in treated timber

I asked a customer if they needed kindling with the log order but "no, I've been cutting up some decking". Be very careful with burning treated timber, I said. "it's ok, I've painted it" was his reply!!!!
