coppicing saw

16 years ago when i did my first chainsaw course (cs10 as it was back then lol)it was give me the biggest saw you have but 16 years on it is give me the smallest you have if i have to use it all day, ms 200 every time if i am not climbing nice and light but yet still plenty of power

that sounds a good idea- i.e. carving chain:thumbup1:

 

to be honest I just use the standard bar/chain that comes with the MS171. It is the only saw I've found that comes with 1.1 guage chain as standard, as opposed to 1.3 on the 181, all small Huskys etc... the .2mm does make a lot of difference!

 

I have got a carving bar and 1/4" chain, but very rarely need to use it.
