White Xmas 2010?

Just checked out the forecast for the week leading up to Christmas, looks like snow is forecast from the 22nd onwards, with daytime highs nudging a sweltering +2degC. So maybe, just maybe a white xmas will be on the cards this year. Unless Peckerwoo comes along and bursts my bubble:001_smile:

we got a thaw starting today, snow coming off the trees, a bit to far christmas to predict too precise, but fingers cross, roads now open here but no petrol or diesel n garages

Tbh the only reason I looked that far ahead is I have tree work along a road, and was just trying to plan ahead. In the winter this particular road is an accident blackspot, mainly due to black ice readily forming. I do appreciate for thse who have borne the brunt of the heavy snowfall already here that more snow is possibly the last thing they want to hear, or think about.

we got 3 days of + temp, hopefully most of it will shift, as long as we can get some cloud cover at nighttime to keep the temp up.

we had just below freezing yesterday, now 7+ today. not much ice left now.

We had minus 12 night before last, now plus 3 - madness!

 

Hoping the snow goes to be honest - really makes self employment quite difficult.
