Blakes on split tail?

am i doing something wrong then as i only re-tie as it comes out of the bag (if i undid it lasttime):thumbup:

 

Nah bud. If you use a separate split tail (I'm guessing that you do) its no difference to a prussik or a VT system (in that it can stay on the rope in the bag)

 

If you use the system in the video (all from one piece of rope) you have to re-tie the blakes if you are throwing your line higher to advance your anchor point.

 

Does that make sense? I know what I mean!!:thumbup:
