nearly kicked the bucket !!!

i dont have any happy memories about household wiring, there was very bright blue flashes and loud bangs coming from the kitchen last winter, that was a wire arcing to the cooker body, then i put a new socket front on in the bedroom and must have nipped the wires while screwing it down, big bang/flash and lots of smoke coming out of the wall, it melted along the wires for about 6ft inside the stud wall. car electrics are so much nicer:thumbup1:

bet that made for some serious undergarment redecoration!

 

i had the bright idea once of just cutting a cable to my old freeview box, i couldnt find which plug it was and it was a faff to even follow the cable, so i just got my multitool out with pliers on and cut it, they were all metal, it made a bang and now its welded some copper to the cutting edges, it tripped NOTHING! it made a hell of a bang.

 

I made a resolution to unplug stuff first!

 

 

Don't ever work in bomb disposal :biggrin:
