Sorry but I did not get the 1st bit - is the machine a tracked machine?

 

Some years ago, there was an issue with some Jensen tracked machines as the crawler speed was too slow, so a bigger pump was fitted which meant that the rollers were too fast - so a "gag" was fitted into the circuit which encouraged the oil to overheat. All very dissapointing for those who had purchased them.

 

If you have issues with it, I'm sure that a responsible supplier will be approachable. There is a best speed for infeed rollers, too fast and it can be dangerous and too slow means that you are waiting for what seems like an age.

 

Have you checked the valve linkage to ensure that the spool is correctly locating. I had a 340 in as a px and the valve actuating rod was bent and this allowed the valve to go into all 3 postions without locking in the stop position.:scared1:
