Is kindling worth the effort

How much time do you spend doing that??

 

way too long skyhuck, but you gotta start somewhere, and this is the halfway point, better than by hand but not as efficient as a kindlett for example. i'd love to have D. M. Taylor's machine, but cant meet the price at the moment...

Did the seller run out of fingers I bought one of these but never had the courage to use it and sold it without even running it up.

i had a kindling machine for 3 years cost me 6 grand take to long you have to prep all the wood to 6 and 3/4 " first we could do 60 nets an hour but with 3 people to keep up, but if it keeps jammings on knots you can then half that. i then sold the machine for 4 grand on ebay. i now buy it in at £1.25 per bag which is so much easier, and its delivered i yhen flog it on to shops for £2 ish thats the way forward for me.

This man has been there and done it and is absolutely right. The figures put out by machine makers and hire companies is laughable.
