the clutch springs will appear to be ok , but under slight load/revs the springs will be weeker and will cause the chain to creep. any way i really hope this solves the problem

check cylnder head bolts if theres a slight air leak it will cause the engine to accelerate. Had this problem with a 262 had me scrating my head for a while.
