Fishing [rubber worms/critters]

So finally managed to skive off yesterday afternoon and get in some sea fishing with a landscaper mate of mine. Drifting just off Jones Beach we started with some skates, then some robin fish and just as we were about to try a different spot.....the striped bass (our intented catch) started biting. Great afternoon, I got sunburn on my forehead and we BBQd the stripey steaks later that evening.

Aldeburgh ''dirty wall'' tonight for a mega all night session! wish me luck..

 

We shall see if all the good reports are correct, supposed to be fishing really well , with cod to 7lb, big bass around and a few skate, we shall see!
