A weeks road closure will cost you £320 up here tom and you have to sign the diversion yourself.We have worked on a few of the councils own closures and find that joe public still thinks he/she can hurtle through your workzone at full speed!especially at goin to and coming home from work time.

Do you mean well used main roads? In rural areas we do as the local council do and use SLOW warning signs well before and manual STOP/GO boards.

Well thats all very interesting.

The 810 i was quoted was to cover the cost of admin and adverts in the local paper warning of the closure I was told.
