I'm struggling to find a reasonably priced one...

Shuttelworth college - too expensive with a poor feedback..

St.Albans (Oaklands college) - only do CS30 and that would be £350 :confused1:

Enfield ( Capel Manor) - whopping £885!

Please suggest any other places nearby...ThanX :001_smile:

I know someone who did CS31 at Oaklands. I think they pass you onto they guy who does the CS30 directly to do 31. Can't think of anywhere else that you could go. I guess their must be a shortage of sites hence the price. I've just put together a windblown course 34/35 with a member on here and we paid 450 quid for both course combined.

Have you tried BTS training?

Thanx John. E-mailed them at the Badger Hill and will speak to Salcey next week although there is nothing mentioned on their website. I've got you wrong in the previous post..I thought you were saying that the Badger Hill were the part of Shuttelworth :blushing: blond brain :stupid:

as far as i know, the badger hill do work with shuttleworth in some form or another, just not sure how?

i looked at a cs34 with salceys a few years back, just never got round to it.

Oaklands do CS30 may offer 31 now as i've noticed some thinning work in the woods that edge their site. They alway use to pass the 31 stuff onto a guys name who i can't remember. Friend of mine did their CS30 there found it quite good.

Caple are quite good just outside Herts really but so close worth considering.

I did my CS30 there a long time ago. There was a guy who lived in St. Albans who ran chainsaw courses but i can't seem to find his website.
