Just to clarify..I'm 25 but kept myself reasonably active for most of my life until recently as I had a kid..Now I need to get back on track and clear this rust away! I'm slightly mad as I have uni degree and could comfortably sit on my bum in the warm and dry lab for 18k as a starting wage...but I believe that the joy of work should come first! After all, that's where we spend most of our time.

In meantime, I think I'll stick with your advice and get myself some proper qualifications and then see what happens next. Have checked the prices today..

I'm pretty happy to stay on the ground for a while too, got no issues with that.
