A customer has asked me how much would I want for a forestry trailer full of firewood all 14foot lenghs a mix of alder beach birch and oak all been stored for 12months the trailer is a 9ton farmi primero any one got any idea on what I should ask for??

work out what it cost you to get it, and store it(rent, rates on the sheds etc) then if you have to deliver it. If they were to buy it it would be about £40 a ton delivered. The thing is you have done the work and it is ready to split and sell where it is then worth about £240 a ton.:001_cool:

sell it for what it's worth to you, i sell all types of logs, from small bags to lorry loads of chunks, lengths and rings. I am trying to get as many of my customers to take wet wood through out the year and dry it in their time and sheds. it will save me time, rent and wages that are not profitable and give the customer a better deal aswell. I have also bought a new splitter that is mor euser friendly than my last, so i can hire that out too.

How do you get on with the 9ton farmi primero trailer? what tractor are you using it with? (Horsepower and Hydraulic requirements) How easy is it do take the crane off the trailer to fit tractor 3point linkage?

Interested in buying one!

Its a good trailer i have a ford 8210 115hp 69 litre per minute hydraulic, it will lift 750kg max I have never taken the crane off to be honest looks quite easy to do thou mine is for sale next year.
