Im looking for a new hedge trimmer and am seriously thinking of the hsa 85 trimmer. Okay it battery powered but why not, lotus make a battery powered car thats quicker than the petrol version.

Has anyone used one/got one/borrowed one/sold one because it was pants?

I compared the prices against the petrol which was comparable and the weight is better also. I suffer from tennis elbow and it should help. Also less vibration and noise etc etc etc!!

all comments would be welcome.

the best hedge cutter i ever used was an electric one, it was so light and sharper than a sharp thing, i dont know the cost but for those little jobs that need a perfect finish then i think it could be the way to go mate

Or some of the Echo/ robin machines. They are petrol admittedly, but better than stihl i believe.

Get your tennis elbow treated before you end up having to take 6 months off work because your hand wont work like i did...

The electric ones look good to me, i might just get one and be the only one on arbtalk with it!!!! lol

the elbow is okay, its strapped and repairing nicely. Deligation is key to its recovery if you know what i mean!!!
