You've probably got nothing to worry about if your employer sees enough drive and potential in you that he's prepared to swallow the costs of climbing gear and a course with an exam! But don't get cocky and best of luck!

What a great day spent learning and climbing loving it am aching in parts I never knew I had lol

there is a lot to cs 38 now, including a lot more info on LOLER, Tree ident and pole rescue. Im teaching a course next week and it is a lot to squeeze into a week but always good fun.

Doing the pole rescue tomorrow really getting into it now and enjoying moving around the tree canopy, got my assesment on monday.

Well I passed my CS38 today and am well chuffed.

Am groundie for the moment although the lad I am working with will be sending me up the tree first. We got a few jobs lined up already.

I also have big respect for those that do pole climbing at competitions.
