Hi

I've looked on the fungi directory and i can't find this. I have no idea what it is. It's slightly slimy to the touch and its living in the butress of a largish beech tree.

Thanks for any help

Andy

is that becon, or beacon? i know the beacons Ivenhoe etc where they all fly kites on a weekend, I am very keen to visit this fungi as soon as poss.

I do mean beacon rather than becon silly spelling mistake. It's just by the car park. I could meet you there one day after work and show you?

that would be cool, how about friday? sat or sunday?

tommorows a possibility too?

where? the main car park up on the top, where the tea hut is?

Friday would be best for me. If we meet up the top at the tea hut we can drive over to the beacon and take a look at the fungi.
