Today has turned out rather well Spent this morning in our woods messing about a little and putting up an owl box.

 

 

On the way back our next door farmer stopped me for a chat, hes currently selling off his farm because he kids dont want it . He saw the saw in the front basket on the quad and started talking about how he used to do a bit, he said he had all this old kit in one of his barns and I could help myself if I wanted any because he didnt need it anymore! So I came home with a Stihl Class 1 Jacket that hasnt seen much use, a McCulloch top handle saw (little 14" bar, doesnt work ,yet), 2 Silky Saws and 4 axes!

 

I took him over a case of stout after lunch, and he said that if Im quick I can help myself to any dead standers in his wood for the fire!

Indeed Looking at taking the Kybota UTV to do the trees, was delivered on friday and it could be a cracker, depending on what its like off tarmc, it certainly holds some logs

It would! Apart from the Silkys, which have now been sold on to a mate, Ill try and get some done soon

Might be Its probably twenty years old, 14inch bar. Doesnt work at the moment, and I reckon the carburettors gone. If your still interested then Ill take some pics for you
