Today has turned out rather well :) Spent this morning in our woods messing about a little and putting up an owl box.

On the way back our next door farmer stopped me for a chat, hes currently selling off his farm because he kids dont want it :/ . He saw the saw in the front basket on the quad and started talking about how he used to do a bit, he said he had all this old kit in one of his barns and I could help myself if I wanted any because he didnt need it anymore! So I came home with a Stihl Class 1 Jacket that hasnt seen much use, a McCulloch top handle saw (little 14" bar, doesnt work ,yet), 2 Silky Saws and 4 axes!

I took him over a case of stout after lunch, and he said that if Im quick I can help myself to any dead standers in his wood for the fire!

Happy Sam
